You are quite right in the fact that there is no place you can go to see the different exhaust systems in action. I just went by what was recommended by a friend that had the Magnaflows on his 05. I like the appearance and sound on my 05...to each his own. We all recommend what we like.
i never said anything about the 3.7 not being what it;s cracked up to be so please don't put words in my mouth .the 3.7 is superior to the 4.0 in every way possible.i suppose now i am bashing the 4.0,get real ray.his motor is built to rev and has a 3.7l displacement ,telling him it will rumble is total bs buddy.the motor is simply not made to sound the way he wants it to and telling him it will is unrealistic.i hope he finds one he likes but the ricer sound is right around the corner with the wrong muffler choice for this car cause it is a revver just like a ricer .my 4.0l sounded like hell and ricey or european sounding when i changed the muffs to the pypes mufflers that were hyped up as being throaty.this of course was a sales pitch.you can't change the nature of this 3.7l beast simply because it is not designed to be throaty from an engine stand point not a muffler stand point.i'm all done with this thread.good luck

Hey guys, I appreciate the inputs and don't want this turning into a fight/war.... was just asking what to do. If I end up getting a system and don't like it, then I guess i sell it and lose money and go back to factory exhaust and wait till warranty is up and supercharger it.

Thanks for the inputs... i will do a little more research then go from there.

I am just stating an opinion based on my own experience with the Magnaflow setup. Yeah the Canadian Constitution and section 2 & 7 of the Charter. Hmmmm were are the moderators anyways.

the discussion was about the 3.7 not the 4.0.they can sound pretty good with the proper parts.i like the stealthy sound of mine with the gt muffs .i prefer to listen to the blower than the exhaust.i don't like drone.

wrong you can get a v6 car to sound as good as a v8 . its not that hard i did it in my drive ways its easy..........gary shut up right about now........yes yes take a 4.0 out and put a 4.6v8 in and now it sounds just like a v8 lol.

and to the guy that said take his 5.0 take off two coils and he has a 4.0 v6??? no you would have a 5.0 running on 3.75l 4 valve per cyl dohc vs a 4.0 witch is sohc 2valve per cyl and not missing on two cyl. i know i know im just being a pita but i got to have fun to.. but if you want a better sounding idle for the 3.7 get it tuned they can mess with the cam timming to make it sound meaner.they do it with the 5.0 and then do it with the 3.7

I don't think I said I would have a 4.0, I said it would sound like one. But anyway, just so you know I like the V6's, it's just that I LOVE the V8's.

The V6 Mustangs are awesome and put out all kinds of HP. I also love the v8 5.L Mustang, can't beat the sound that comes from a V8 Mustang.
