Thanks WhiteLion, I agree it seems outrageously priced. Im going to call a few places tomorrow the first being lordco. I just wanted a better upgrade for the fuel pump so if anyone knows a good fuel pump upgrade for a bolt on GT what's good!?

I had that same problem once, but turned out it was a bad tank of fuel from a fill up in the US. Ended up adding a bottle of gas line antifreeze and it went away. Along with the filter thing, go for the simple things first, instead of automatically jumping to a $1250 bill. Just because the fuel filter is new, doesn't mean you didn't get some crap in your tank, and it's actually doing it's job. Be a real bitch if you spent all that cash on an upgrade and it turned out to be the filter.

I don't know where you got that, for that price or if older stangs have cheaper pumps, but the cheapest I found was 320$, and with labor and a new fuel filter as well the job is 700$. It's really unfortunate

Sounds like the pump for sure!! Where have you checked on prices for the fuel pump?

You can get a nice aftermarket one from CJ PONY for under 300 bucks, and install it your self.

To bad this didn't happen sooner as you could've taken advantage of the free shipping to Canada every Wednesday last month.

Well unfortunetly since its my get to work everyday car Im trying to get it done ASAP if you know what I mean. So shipping takes too long! But that would have been good if I knew before it died lol! I tried some NAPA's and Lordco's and some other auto shops. Cheapest was 320 for a pump, and most local was like 450-500. :S
