JLT oil catch can
Hello all
I just ordered a passenger side JLT oil catch can for my 19 GT and I was wondering if anyone else has this installed and how frequently you empty it and the average amount of oil it had in it when you do empty it. Thanks.

I've got the Ford Performance catch cans on mine, drivers side stays mostly empty, but I check the passengers side every 1000km or so.
Usually get an ounce or two, never really checked to see how much, but typically theres always something there.
I really like the JLT cans, well built, top notch materials and easier to check than the Ford Performance ones, but I deferred to FP because they look like they're supposed to be there.
Either way, good mod, I'm constantly surprised at how much oil the separators remove.

Hey Apocalypse Pony
Thanks for the info. I really like the look of the JLT as well but all I really care about is that it does what it's supposed to do. I'll check it every thousand kms for the first while just to get a feel for what's needed. Are the Ford Performance ones easy to take apart to empty. I like the idea of it saying Ford on it as well, however it was more expensive and like I said I really like the look of the JLT. I got the black one. Thanks again. Funny I'm buying all this stuff and my car isn't even built yet.

JLT cans you just unscrew the can and empty it, Ford Performance ones have four allen screws you have to remove, lift the top off, and then use a syringe to suck out the oil collected.
Huge pain in the butt, personally I think you're better off with JLT, love the billet aluminum and how easy they are to empty/check.
Had I known more about the JLT's before I bought, I likely would have gone that direction instead of FP, too late now, I already have them, but I'm happy with how they work.

Cool. I happy with the JLT , I know it's just something simple but I'm already hooked on mods. Got some Niche Misano gun metal wheels and I'm getting the roof wrapped in black. It's just the beginning ... Can't wait for summer to get here.

Installed my JLT and it looks great, extremely easy to install. Got my wheels on and I'm getting the roof wrapped on Tuesday. Hopefully the rain and flooding will end and we will get some nice weather. Cars got about 300 kms on it so far. I really love this car !
