Don't know if it's of any interest, but for an idea, Scrape-by-the-Lake is during the sumer sometime here in Niagara, (looked on the site, and no info for 2007 yet). And pretty much every Sunday during June/July/August there is a local meet in No Frills parking lot, Lundy's Lane NF. Usually lots of people show up. One side of the lot for ricers and one for muscle/classics.

Just my 2 cents.

A lot of us live far from those places, and with gas $$$$ to far to drive for a meet. A track day (even if you've never been) is the best plan IMO, it's a reason to drive that far for us that race, and entry as a spectator is only $5 to see what it's all about. i suggest Sparta as they're never as busy as the others.

Best option IMO, is to head to an already schedules GTAMC or LAMC event, that way we'll have more cars to see and more people to meet, plus it's already organised and at least there won't be like 3 guys who actually show up even though 50 said they'd go.

I am trying to step up to the plate to organize it but id like to know what everyones ideas are first.

Even if one person organizes it all its still a team effort for everyone to show up.

Ha Ha, I drove to London for a BBQ all the way from Beamsville (15 km from St. Catharines) and I even considered going down to Myrtle Beach for a YMR cruise/meet, if something were to go on in the Niagara area I'd be the first one there!

for all the ontario people we need to find a central location for a meet the windsor members probably dont want to drive to ottawa for a meet or vise versa .

The meets in Niagara Falls-No Frills Parking Lot is always a good time. I was out there a few times last summer. I think anywhere between Toronto and London would be good to meet...it's pretty much Central...it'll be a nice drive regardless as long as lots of people show up. Wasaga Beach would be fun too
