oh man, thats what that was?! one of my friends with a '99 - '02 (not sure exact year) black convertible v6 went to that may 2-4 weekend back in 2004, i had no idea it was a mustang meet! i remember around that time everyone was out with shirts and shorts on, sounds like a good time. itll be awesome to see everyone showing up in a river of stangs to enter a sea of them!!

I have no idea who puts it on. I'll find out tonight at work. Theres a guy there with a Capri that has a 351C in it, and he knows all about it. I'm trying to get him a card so he'll join up on here. But my team leader last night told me about it, so I'll ask more.
But I'd say get a tent, and an assload of cards, and stickers. Charge like a buck for the stickers... Get some grab bags thrown together and sell those too. Just simple stuff. Gotta make a good impression.

I am glad to see everyone liked the Wasaga idea. So May 24 weekend for sure? I have to book off work, so I need some advance warning so I can book N/A. It's a good idea to meet in the Toronto/Barrie Area and cruise on up. Camping sounds like a good idea...I dunno if it will be cold at night... but it will be lots of fun. I was there last summer. There is a parking lot in town that has a grocery store as well as a McDonald's it was a fair size... it's either that or the beach strip...but that could be really busy too. Anyways I am looking forward to the meet...summers almost here guys! :o)

Okay guys I am up for pretty much any weekend.. May 24 is a little early because I think alot of guys will still have their cars not finished, but there seems to be a good response to the may 24 weekend since there is stang weekend up there. Looks like alot of members are interested. If some people are afraid of the camping idea and that is holding them back, whoever wants to camp can do so but if you'd like to stay in a motel im sure there is tons up there but you would probally have to book soon for a may 24 weekend.
I agree if we are going up for a stang get together a tent, and some cards to promote membership would be a great idea, it could definately drive some traffic to the site.
Have we officially decided May 24 is the weekend for us?? Once we have confirmed the date, we can start organizing where we are going to meet before wasaga, what camp grounds we will stay in, etc, etc..
I'm glad to see everyone having such a interest in the meet and I hope we have a huge turnout and we can turn this into a annual CMOC meet that grows every year into a bigger and better event.

Ok I gathered a tiny bit more information about it. It really is for real a Mustang meet, and it starts on like wednesday, and goes till tuesday. Big *** party type of thing. So it would be good to get the plans in place, and get rooms booked if need be as early as possible. Staying just the weekend would be best, as sticknig around for that long will cause too much of a hassle for other members.
The Northerly type cruise sounds awesome, it beats driving through the crappy city scape. Be nice scenery to drive in. Maybe even be neat to document the trip with video cameras....
If anyone has access to extra tents or whatever, make sure you grab a couple, just in case someone forgets theirs, or something happens with rooms or whatever.
Definatly need to get meeting places organized as well. Sounds great!
