Need help to decide
Well since I started a new job and I don't need my Beetle anymore I want to get a new Mustang GT. I've been looking at the 99-04 body style ones but I'm not finding exactly what I want. I found a black one with 52,000 for $14,900 but it's automatic.. and a silver manual transmission one. I would prefer a black or sonic blue. I plan on going either turbo or supercharged eventually but at this point I'm still undecided. I'm leaning towards turbo at this point. Any pros/cons for a turbo using manual or automatic? I was told auto was better with turbo...
I can get an easy 8-9k for my car since people at the place I used to work for are jumping all over everyone selling them. A guy put his for sale and within 10 minutes he had 8 emails back and was sold within 24 hours. Although, some of that price will be going to pay it off.

automatics are more accurate when it comes to racing, but it's a lot less fun. I'm not sure how strong the auto's are either.

I have a friend who has a 99 GT for sale. It's silver/titanium, leather int, 5 speed, and VERY nice and VERY low miles. He bought it at Ken Knapp in 99 with no miles and I think it's only got like 20 or 30000 KMs on it now, and has been stored indoors.

I'm not sure if I should hang on to my Beetle for a while and pay it off, it would be an awesome beater/daily driver since it's diesel and I get like 1000-1200km off 55L. After driving my V6 downtown and back last night and watching the gas gauge plumet I'm still leaning towards this.
