Welcome to another Easterner! You should have a look at joining MMSC http://www.mmsc.ca and join us at some autoslaloms or at AMP for some track time!

Still in love with the car.

I didn't have much time this summer to drive it,but we had a really nice fall and we took a trip to P.E.I on our anniversary.

I had just lowered it 2 " and put wheels and tires on. 17", 255/40.

I have also installed a Hurst Shifter. It makes this car the most fun I have had driving any car I have owned.

I love it so much,I bought Hurst Equipped emblems, and replaced the GT on each fender.

One on the dash and the rear as well.

I have really come to like the car as it is,and it really stands out with it so low. I don't know if I am going to do any stripes at this point .

Thats all,Love the car, I check in here often. Lorne.

It does look good Lorne. We've been out to the East coast a few times years ago. Made it to P.E.I but didn't get out to Newfoundland. The only province/Territory we haven't visited in Canada. The East coast is really beautiful with friendly people.
Ditto on what ChadStang said about seeing you back.

Thanks guys,I appreciate the comments.

The car is still completely stiock so I will be asking some questions for sure in the performance section.

I promise I will search first, Lorne.

Ask away sir as many here are in the know. The very first thing and I do mean the first thing I do to mine (all four) is to lower it and change the exhaust. Yours looks great now, how's the ride now?

I agree 100%.

I wasn't planning on doing anything to the car until next spring. Kind of a stupid agreement the wife and I had

I then got a deal on the tires from a friend,4 for 200 dollars.

So I know better but I bought wheels to go with tires and the look was ,well you be the judge...

Yea pretty sad indeed. I drove it home and parked it until the lowering kit came.

So I was planning on doing exhaust as well but I will now wait until spring and see what works best for my situation from the members here.

I for some reason am really leaning towards Borla, but cannot say why. They just seem to have a great reputation.

I have read where guys were disappointed ,because they expected more noise.

These cars ,sound good from the factory IMO,and I guess what I am really looking for is the 4" tips to fill the outlets better and simply maintain the existing sound.

Part two is the car drives as close to a race car as I have felt. I actually want to drive this car more than any I have owned.

I was amazed at how many of my friends had never been in one,let alone drive one,and they also are shocked at the quality in these cars.

As I said I am 50 yrs old,and I can only bend to about the console height, so then it is a free fall drop to the seat.

I was bottoming out at first, and then I discovered that the driver side muffler had missed the hanger hole (rite from the factory I would say),and was hooked in one of the corner openings of the rubber.

Once I had that fixed, both pipes were the same height under the rear seat and I have not scraped since.
