They low-balled my trade-in as well. So based on another board member's recommendation, I went to East-court Ford in Scarborough. They were awesome to deal with. They not only matched the deal Yonge-Steele Ford was offering me but also, Gave me $1000 more for my trade, plus no charge rear view camera and life time oil and filter change.

New to forum - bought 2012 V6 Club of America, Lava Red convertible. Great looking car and a lot of fun to drive. Concerned about winter driving as well and considering beater pickup but interested to hear others' experience in winter.

True....

But not everyone has the option to park it either. I like this forum, Everyone is so easy going and always willing to answer questions when they can.

My only problem right now is the funding (thinking of going back to school) and usability(winter time and rainy season, and hauling family around when i want to show off car). I have a 9 daughter (who wants a stang too lol) and a 6 year old son to get in and out of the back sometimes. My son is almost at the right weight where he doesn't need a booster seat any more so they should have enough room to get in and out all the time.

The only other decision I need to make is if the $8000-$10,000 difference is worth it to go from the v6 Premium to the GT premium. The GT needs premium fuel (according to ford canada) and if thats the case, that is the deal breaker right there. I don't want to run premium unless i am running a S/C.

My wife keeps switching my mind on me. 1 day she says to get a 4x4 tacoma so i won't get stuck, Then the next day she is saying well i saw it on the amazing race and maybe you should get a 2012 and customize it as the kids are old enough, and if it snows too badly, i can drive you to work in the suv lol

She is worse then me for making up her mind on what i should get. Geeeeeesh
