However, the top wasnt made available until 1995 when the price was raised to $1825, still option 13T. These were very rare, and the idea was dropped due to complaints about the weight of the hardtop. Apparently it took men to remove it. Saleen converted one (# 95-0118) in association with Mustang Illustrated and gave it away to a reader. The only Saleen Cobra convertible with a removable hardtop ever made.
I Remember that. I have a Mustang magazine with a pick of one, and the story on the new feature. It's very cool.
