Well, lookie lookie what came in the mail today! Our Steeda front tubular swaybar and endlinks. I can't wait to start installing this suspension, my basement is starting to look like a NAPA warehouse! Just waiting on these last few parts to arrive:
- Ford Racing 03/04 Cobra Style Front Lower Control Arms
- Steeda Rear Tubular Sway Bar
- BBK Bolt On Subframe Connectors

So, it's been about 2 weeks since my last update. We're still waiting on:
- Ford Racing 03/04 Cobra Style Front Lower Control Arms
- Steeda Rear Tubular Sway Bar
- BBK Bolt On Subframe Connectors
I've been told that they should be arriving in the next few weeks - then the teardown and rebuild of the suspension will FINALLY begin.
I figure since we're doing all this work to make the suspension perfect we'd take the car to a frame shop to make sure the frame is 100% factory spec. Just in case someone hit a curb in the cars past life and she's slightly off. Might not be a bad idea to make sure she's 100% before we go ahead and bolt on all these goodies - especially the sub frame connectors.
I did pick up a few extra parts to make this ride perfect - some new Ford front wheel bearings and hubs and rear wheel bearings. This should get rid of that annoying 'humming' sound. Here's a pic:
I'll keep ya posted. Unless of course you guys are tired of reading about this build? At this rate it's taking F O R E V E R !!!!

Spent a little time working on the Mustang today as well. Going to be installing a custom rear seat delete so I spent the morning pulling out the rear seats and seatbelts (it would look pretty silly to have seatbelts where there's no seats) .....
(Damn those seat belts are bolted down tight)
..... and then I spent some time making the templates for the actual panels .....
Just have to buy some MDF, cut out the pattern, carpet it in OEM Ford carpet and install. I got a special surprise for this rear seat delete. You'll all have to wait and see!
