VAEM's SN95 264ci 4.3L V6 Mustang Build
#144
The installation is ALMOST complete. Everything is installed, with the exception of the BBK subframe connectors and the chrome strut brace. Here are some more pictures of the installation ...
The spacers make a real difference in the stance of the car ...
It doesn't look like the chrome strut tower brace is going to fit. It doesn't clear the motor (even though the Stack Racing website claims the brace will fit). We'll try fabricating some spacers, hopefully it'll give us the clearance we need to install the brace. We'll have to hold off on the installation of the subframe connectors for now as well. I'd be optimal to weld them on and since I've never even played with a welder we'll have to sub that install out.
Now, I have a TON of OEM Mustang suspension parts in my garage. Free to a good home. Just send me a P/M and we'll work out the details.
Alright, with the suspension about complete, lets turn our attention to that rear seat delete I started preparing a few weeks ago.

I did take her for a spin ... MUCH better. You can really feel the car now - feels "racier" - if that's a word! I have to play around with the settings on the shocks and struts a bit - the car feels a bit too much like an SCCA racecar. But I'm not complaining, the difference is ride quality really is amazing.

"Racier" - of, or pertaining to, that which is of a quality greater than race, or above a previous standard of race induced joy. lol Seat o' the pants meter - best way to show your improvement yet!!!
