I went with these for the same reason.....Didn't want to mark up my FR500's.

^^^ Thanks Guys. Your comments are very much appreciated. Glad people are liking the thread. It's nice to share what's going on - just don't want to bore you guys.

So I DID head over to the shop tonight to take a peek. They pulled the car outside so I can see it in the natural light too! The rims are back from powder coating and they were installed. The shop did an AWESOME job with them - they look brand new.

I'm not sure about the black rims now. Some angles they looked great and some angles they looked ... Meh.

What do you guys think?

Still quite a bit of work to go on her but she should be back mid to late next week. A few interior pieces to be painted satin black to match the car and some window tint has yet to be installed. The pieces of the spoiler that are still silver (the winglets) still have to be wrapped in carbon fiber. Then "re-installation" (windows and such) and a goooooood cleaning (inside and out).

The car looks GREAT...you'll be as stealthy as the B1 (or wharever that stealth bomber is). But I see what you mean about the wheels. Front the front view they look good, but straight on side view....hummmmm. Maybe it's tires not being cleaned with Tire Shine. In any case...GREAT car.
