VAEM's SN95 264ci 4.3L V6 Mustang Build

Not really. 210 RWHP / 270 HP at the flywheel is quite good. Rear wheel horsepower went up 50% - you don't get those gains without boost. Remember the stock motor only produces 150 HP (at the flywheel) from factory.
Also, I'm looking at the bigger picture - intake, cams, heads - they'll all produce higher numbers with boost.
I agree the price tag on the blower is steep - especially considering you can pick up a Vortech for your 5.0 for around 1,800.00. BUT, that's the price you pay for V6 performance. Everything is expensive - the market just isn't there.
Ohh, back to your question. Boost is at 11 psi.

VAEM... something to consider, if you haven't already. As the old saying goes, there's no replacement for displacement. How about picking up a used 4.2 from a truck and building it? It should be a pretty straight forward swap, and that way you (or Little VAEM) can enjoy the hell out of the car as is until the new set-up is ready. It would make a nice winter project if you have the space. Also, I hear that the Winstar intake offers a decent improvement in flow vs the Mustang intake when you do the split port (or 4.2) swap. @ 210 hp, those single port heads are really holding you back.
You're right... V6 performance ain't cheap. I have over $5000 invested in the blower on my '07 4.0, and it isn't even intercooled. I'm running an MP-90 @ 10.5psi. I had it tuned at DaSilva's shop last year, and it made 301hp/314ft.lbs through a single exhaust. If you are ever on GTAMC, a member there recently bought a 3.8 Mustang with a blower, and I think it is good for around 350 hp. I believe his handle is Evil Edge. You may be able to pick his brain (or that of the former owner) for some good ideas.

dont waste you money with cams and heads and on the single port. its honestly not worth it i went down that road nearly 6 years ago. if your going to put the money into the engine get your self a split port and dont want your time.
you can do a STOCK split port with a windstar intake and and 7psi on a safe tune and have WAY more gain.
oh and i know all to much about v6 performance ive been modding v6 stangs for nearly 10 years.
but at 11 psi 210 is still disappointing.
i made 75Whp more then that at 7psi when i had a STOCK split port.
with my ssm engine set up on a VERY conservative tune ive more then doubled your WHP numbers
a quick pull on the rollers at dasilva with my boosted 6

Somebody said something about not being able to make decent power with a single port?

I'm not saying single ports are the be all end all believe me, I'm well aware of the advantages of a split port - just saying split port isnt ALWAYS the way to go. The point of this project was to get the engine the car already has in it to around 350 HP. If I wanted HUGE numbers I would have dropped in a 5.4 (stay tuned for my next project). (Todd, I know you're reading this - I've already got the parts list made up )
PEGASIX - I appreciate the words of warning - You've done this before and were dissappointed with the power - I think what you wanted out of your v6 project is different than what I'm looking for with mine. But thanks for the comments anyways - peoples thoughts and experiances are always helpful.
RODDY - Thanks for your imput too on the engine swap from the truck. Maybe for another project.
