Did you do anything to beef up the brakes after your little upgrade to your motor..? I am thinking the stock binders may not be the best to haul all that muscle to a halt in a hurry...

For sure... I will be ordering from the states and getting them delivered (for free) just south of the border, A quick run down to pick them up, pay the duty and taxes and then it's off to find an installation place that will not wreck the rims...!

I am not buying these for racing I would just like a little more traction... As you know the power delivery is very linear it does not come on in a great heap as the revs grow (like some turbo's I have been in) but it does come on real strong and damn it's hard to get it down to the pavement. Before I installed my LCA's it was pathetic with the wheel hop... Oh well we will see what happens with new rubber installed...

Sorry guys I'm on vacation with limited access to the WEB!

So I made 3 passes, two in the 13.4 range, and my new PB was a 13.26 @ 108.90mph this is down from 14.22 @ 100.5mph. It felt like a pretty good run. I know I can shave a couple more tenths from the time with a better launch and some practice. The launch is quite diffcult on street tires!

I will be racing again June 4th. I hope to get a low 13 or possibly a high 12!

Have the new Nitto's on... They look really aggressive and hook up great... I had to do a little work on the LCA's to stop that horrible squeaking that seems to accompany them...! It's all good now..!
