Oh, okey. LOL
Don't remember seeing your ride?!?! Even chatted with Gary for a bit threwout the day. :?

ex91 09-14-2011 06:23 PM

Black 06 v6 beaying gary all morning then he beat me all after noon I was the only other 4.0 racing there its a stick shift car

roddy 09-14-2011 06:24 PM

My sixer's fun down low, and on the street, but you two are at a whole other level... Those Vortechs pull hard on the big end. You and Gary are pulling numbers that a lot of GT guys are envious of.

ex91 09-14-2011 06:28 PM

Just wait till I get the v8 with the vortech in my car

I think i do remember you lining up with him. You guys are really dialed in with your 6'ers. :tup

ex91 09-14-2011 08:25 PM

Thanks

rampant racing 09-14-2011 08:31 PM

yea thanks guys that's really nice of you to say.mike certainly does have a fast car, that's for sure.i wish he was keeping the six in it a while longer.i'll have no competition next year if he does swap it out.v6 competition that is.

SNAKEBITE 09-15-2011 04:59 PM

What was the reason going the Vortech way over the competition???

ex91 09-15-2011 05:34 PM

Mp 90 can not make the HP that a vortech siv3 can

ex91 09-15-2011 06:11 PM

The vortech was cheaper and it was the intercooled kit

roddy 09-15-2011 06:18 PM

I can back that up. My V6/MP90 combo (non-intercooled) works pretty good, but wouldn't come close to the HP these guys are making. A carefully selected turbo would trump either type of blower, though.

ex91 09-15-2011 06:22 PM

Turbo does make more power but easy there roddy if you had the intercooled kit and a small meth kit or just a big meth kit I be you could make near the same power the x has not been put to the max yet

roddy 09-15-2011 06:36 PM

The Eaton M series blowers aren't the most efficient design out there, and create a lot of heat. The TVS series Eatons are much more efficient for a PD blower. If I make any changes, that will be the direction I will lean in.

roddy 09-15-2011 06:56 PM

Nah, the X hasn't been maxed yet, but the TVS will have more potential. Either way, I have no regrets going with the one I have. It is a blast on the street, and the sound of an Eaton on boost is freakin' awesome.

SNAKEBITE 09-16-2011 04:16 PM

^^^I think I have heard my Eaton roughly 6 times this year and I do enjoy the sound.

rampant racing 09-16-2011 06:53 PM

well it's back to st.thomas tomorrow to see if i can better the 12.57 i ran last week.hope to get in the 30's.then when i get my new converter installed i am pretty much looking at 11.90's.
