I think it is a different demographic altogether. Not all about money. Maybe more about practicallity. Also I see a lot of girls driving V6's. Think it is sorta "User Friendly" Not alot of power but enough for most. Insurance like mentioned above is lower but not cheap, looks, some want the mustang look and do not car about the sound or horsepower or speed.

My 87 Sundance blew up and I needed a car to get to school. I found my 94 Mustang, mint condition and low Ks on it for only $4600. Insurance wasn't THAT much more than before, but a V8 would have added on another $2000 a year. That's just friggen insane. I'm still in college so I can't really afford the V8's insurance at the moment. I graduate in a month and when I get a good job that'll be a different story.. Once I can afford a GT or even a Cobra and the insurance, I'm getting one. But in the meantime, I'm going to have some fun with the V6.

This and a few other goodies might help that.

V6: $4000 a year
V8: $6000 a year
Cobra: $13,000 a year

Those were the lovely quotes I got. Help, help! I'm being raped. :cry2:
